nova aims to move towards a livable world for all, that is, a world where all people have adequate resources to meet their basic needs with dignity in a sustainable and equitable manner.
To do this, nova has worked over the years in different proposals, because a proposal is worth more than a thousand complaints. Currently, much of what the association wants, what it proposes, is reflected in one of its latest projects, the Barcelona Consensus. During the last three years of operation of this project, nova, along with other organizations, has brought together over 150 experts from around the world to develop alternatives to neoliberal globalization. In the Declaration, approved in May 2011, major transitions or gradual changes are proposed in seven specific areas, called the 7 TRANSITIONS.
These transitions are of a global nature, given that they incur all areas to effectively move toward a better world, and therefore nova endorses this and defines its objectives from them.
On the other hand, for nova, it is important the goal to be reached and how to get there. Therefore, the formula consists of 3 BASIC PRINCIPLES, 3 APPROACHES AND 3 COMPLEMENTARY STRATEGIES that always guide their actions.
